This POST approved course (1031- 31651) is intended for crime scene investigators, detectives, forensic personnel, senior patrol officers and those who may respond to complex crime scenes.

The course is for those who may be involved in the investigation of the expansive crime scene covering multiple jurisdictions as well as the complex crime scene involving multiple fatalities. In addition, the class focuses on techniques relevant to the investigation of the serial criminal and continuing investigation of the “old and cold” homicide This 50 hour, five day course provides the student numerous opportunities to demonstrate their comprehension of the material as well as to develop practical skills applicable to their on-duty assignments.
