0800-1200 Morning Session
Department of Justice – Bureau of Forensic Services Laboratory Fresno will present on the following: Firearms, Latent Prints and DNA. We are lucky to have the criminalist who works on our items and the directors to answer our questions. They will stay after lunch to answer any questions you may have. If any of you are also crime scene investigators or are interested in collecting evidence at the scene, there will be a signup sheet for a special free training at their laboratory for a future date. Space is limited.
1200-1300 Lunch will be provided and held onsite. On today's menu will be various sandwiches from Deli Delicious, chips, salad, and various beverages (soda & water)

1300-1700 Afternoon Session

Department of Justice continues with the Q&A portion.

Fresno County Superior Court has a new supervising judicial assistant and she is finding new ways to make our job a little easier. Leigh Anteola will be presenting what is needed when submitting various court orders, also the new way to submit them and how they are returned if they are approved or if they need updated information.

We are about 4 months away from C.A.P.E. 2019 Annual Training Seminar. Central Valley is a hosting chapter and Co-Director Julia Martinez will give a short update on what l training and entertainment will be offered and how you can help.

Central Valley Chapter will be ending their training with a roundtable on the following topics: Transient property and how to dispose, marijuana (safekeeping) return, Safe-T, Narcan use and where to purchase, money in your property room also any questions you may have.
